The PPSA regional athletics carnival is always a highlight for a large squad of MPS athletes. Congratulations to the students who represented our school at in Tamworth last Friday – all are to be congratulated for their personal presentation and representing our school and their families with distinction.
The following students have earned a place in the regional team for the state carnival to be held in October.
Darcy Brazel - 200m, high jump and long jump; Harriet Beattie – discus; Mana Noble – discus; Charlie Grant – 100m; Mitch Beddoes – long jump; and Jeremy Blatchford, Mitch Beddoes, Mana and Chaz Noble – Junior boys relay.
Fantastic effort boys and girls! Appreciation is extended to Miss Burey and Mrs Black for escorting the students (especially with a 5.00am departure).
