A year at our school

2025 New England Education Cooperative Award Winners - Lindy Hosegood and Moree Public School Learning & Support Team led by Di Ireland

Eight amazing MPS students took on the NSW PSSA Athletics Championships at Sydney Olympic Park Athletic Centre this week! A massive congratulations to Marley, Jake, Evie, Bella, Makenna, Josh, Zac & Chayse! They ran and jumped their hearts out coming away with not only some spectacular PB’s but also amazing experiences! We know many of the MPS students and wider community were cheering them on from home and we are all so very proud!

Will proudly represented Moree Public School at the recent Inter School Horse Expo (ISHE) held in Tamworth, competing in the Junior Working Horse Challenge — an incredible accomplishment for such a young and talented rider. We are so proud of Will’s hard work, determination, and the way he represented MPS with pride, skill, and great sportsmanship!

Gordon’s artwork brings the world to life with vibrant creativity and imagination. His latest piece features a striking bird - that captures character and spirit with a unique touch. We’re proud to showcase Gordon’s artistic talent and celebrate the special contributions he brings to Moree Public School.

Our amazing P&C recently treated Moree Public School students to a special Milkshake Day! The students absolutely loved their delicious milkshakes, enjoying both the tasty treats and the chance to socialise with friends.

A big thank you to our hardworking P&C for organising this fun event and making school even more enjoyable. We can’t wait for the next one!

Congratulations to our amazing Year 2 students at Moree Public School! Three of our young readers proudly had their names added to the Home Reading Honour Roll, as part of our Home reading Program. Your dedication to reading is inspiring—keep up the fantastic work!
