Hockey Girls NW PSSA trials

Last Wednesday Harriet Beattie, Georgie Quinlan, Phoebe Tydd and Denna McGrady travelled to Tamworth as part of the Moree zone girls hockey squad to compete at the North West trials. The girls played in a team with students from Narrabri PS and Inverell PS and showed great teamwork. The day consisted of drills and a round robin of short games. All four girls gave it their best shot in the games and Harriet and Georgie were both named in the possible and probables. While they weren't selected in the North West side the girls are to be congratulated for making such a great effort! Congratulations to the girls for displaying enthusiasm and sportsmanship.
